To ensure both physical safety and the best possible experience with the medicine, please review and acknowledge the following:(Required)
I understand that if I am currently taking any SSRIs, SNRIs, or other medications prescribed for depression or anxiety, I am required to taper off these medications under medical supervision at least 2 weeks prior to attending the retreat. This step is essential to ensure my safety and to allow for the fullest possible experience with the medicine. These medications can include: SSRIs such as sertraline, fluoxetine, escitalopram, and paroxetine; SNRIs such as venlafaxine and duloxetine; and other depression/anxiety medications like bupropion.
Are you currently taking any pain meds, sleep aids or benzodiazepines? EX: Ambien, Trazadone, Xanax, Oxycodone or others?(Required)

I understand that I cannot be on any medications classified as opioids, benzodiazepines, narcotics, or medications prescribed for sleep or pain management during the retreat. I further acknowledge that I will not bring these medications with me to the retreat and that I am strictly prohibited from taking them for at least 3-5 days prior to attending. These medications can include: opioids such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, and morphine; benzodiazepines such as alprazolam, lorazepam, and diazepam; and sleep or pain medications such as zolpidem, trazodone, and gabapentin.

Logistics and Fine Print

Cancellation Policy(Required)
We are committed to creating an exceptional experience for all our retreat participants. However, if we do not reach the minimum number of attendees required within 30 days of the retreat start date, we may need to either cancel or reschedule the retreat. If this occurs, you will have two options: 1. Move Your Reservation: You can transfer your reservation to a future retreat date of your choice, with an exclusive 20% discount applied. 2. Full Refund: You may opt for a full refund of any payments made.
Zero Tolerance Policy(Required)
The Buena Vida has a Zero Tolerance Policy around any recreational substances, including cannabis, ketamine, sleeping pills, non-prescription pills, or anything not listed on an application. In addition to a signed waiver and required medical screening, each guest will also be verbally acknowledging upon arrival that there have been no changes in prescription medications and that they do not posses any of the above while at The Buena Vida Retreat centers. The Buena Vida is not a clinical detox center, and is not equipped to handle those in active alcohol or drug addiction, nor an active eating disorder.

Full Terms of Service

Cancellation and Refund Policy

To ensure a quality experience, we may cancel or reschedule the retreat if minimum attendance isn’t met 30 days before the start date. In that case, you can:

1. Move Your Reservation to a future retreat with a 20% discount.
2. Receive a Full Refund of any payments made.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy:

– Deposit refunds: after the Application Interview Call incur a 15% admin fee.

– 61+ days prior: 75% refund minus $85 admin fee, or transfer credit valid for one year.

– 31–60 days prior: 50% refund minus $150 admin fee, or transfer credit valid for one year (limit one transfer).

– 30 days or less: No refund or transfer.

– If the retreat is full: 90% refund minus $100 admin fee.

Retreat Date Changes: If fully paid and needing to reschedule, you can transfer to another retreat within the same season at no cost with 30+ days’ notice.

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen changes.
