To ensure both physical safety and an optimal experience with the medicine, please review and acknowledge the following:(Required)
I understand that if I am currently taking any SSRIs, SNRIs, or other medications prescribed for depression or anxiety, I am required to taper off these medications under medical supervision at least 2 weeks prior to attending the retreat. This step is essential to ensure my safety and to allow for the fullest possible experience with the medicine. These medications can include: SSRIs such as sertraline, fluoxetine, escitalopram, and paroxetine; SNRIs such as venlafaxine and duloxetine; and other depression/anxiety medications like bupropion.
Are you currently taking any pain meds, sleep aids or benzodiazepines? EX: Ambien, Trazadone, Xanax, Oxycodone or others?(Required)

understand that I cannot be on any medications classified as opioids, benzodiazepines, narcotics, or medications prescribed for sleep or pain management during the retreat. I further acknowledge that I will not bring these medications with me to the retreat and that I am strictly prohibited from taking them for at least 3-5 days prior to attending. These medications can include: opioids such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, and morphine; benzodiazepines such as alprazolam, lorazepam, and diazepam; and sleep or pain medications such as zolpidem, trazodone, and gabapentin.

We are committed to creating an exceptional experience for all our retreat participants. However, if we do not reach the minimum number of attendees required within 30 days of the retreat start date, we may need to either cancel or reschedule the retreat. If this occurs, you will have two options: 1. Move Your Reservation: You can transfer your reservation to a future retreat date of your choice, with an exclusive 20% discount applied. 2. Zero Tolerance Policy(Required)
The Buena Vida has a Zero Tolerance Policy around any recreational substances, including cannabis, ketamine, sleeping pills, non-prescription pills, or anything not listed on an application. In addition to a signed waiver and required medical screening, each guest will also be verbally acknowledging upon arrival that there have been no changes in prescription medications and that they do not posses any of the above while at The Buena Vida Retreat centers. The Buena Vida is not a clinical detox center, and is not equipped to handle those in active alcohol or drug addiction, nor an active eating disorder.

SECURE YOUR SPOT(Required)
After submitting this form, you will be directed to a secure external link to complete your $1,000 deposit (via PayPal or major credit card). This deposit holds your space in the retreat until your Application ZoomCall. It is fully refundable if, before or during the Application Interview, The Buena Vida Team or you decide attendance isn’t recommended. Applications without a deposit will be placed on standby and reviewed only if space remains.

Full Terms of Service

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We are committed to creating an exceptional experience for all our retreat participants. However, if we do not reach the minimum number of attendees required within 30 days of the retreat start date, we may need to either cancel or reschedule the retreat.

If this occurs, you will have two options:

    1.    Move Your Reservation: You can transfer your reservation to a future retreat date of your choice, with an exclusive 20% discount applied.
    2.    Full Refund: You may opt for a full refund of any payments made.

  • Deposits refunded after an Application Interview Call will be deducted a 15% administrative fee.

  • Cancel 61 days or more in advance – 75% refund minus $85 administrative fee or balance is credit for transfer to another workshop or person to use within one calendar year.

  • Cancel 31 – 60 days in advance 50% refund minus $150 administrative fee or balance is credit for transfer to another workshop or person to use within one calendar year. (Limit 1 transfer to future date within 1 calendar year)

  • Cancel 30 days or less before the event – no refund or transfer available.

  • *If a retreat is full, you will receive a 90% refund, minus $100 admin fee*

  • If you need to move your scheduled and fully paid Retreat date for any reason, we will transfer your payment to another Retreat during the same season (ex. Fall 2021) at no extra cost if notice is given prior to 30 days of your scheduled Retreat.

  • Far and away the best option to protect your retreat from unseen circumstances is to have travelers insurance.
