The Buena Vida and the leaders can only keep me safe if I remain in the ceremony space. Wandering off alone is not permitted.
No talking or making undue noise during the ceremony unless it is a part of the group work.
I will be respectful to myself, the leaders and everyone in the group throughout the retreat. This includes remaining in non-judgment while everyone goes through their process. This also includes no flirting/seeking out romance.
Begins on the FIRST day of the retreat and guests cannot arrive past the first evening. This is for the safety of the entire group.
I agree to go directly to the person I have an issue with to work it out.
I understand this is a group ceremony and will be led energetically, musically and vibrationally by the leaders. I agree I will not use my phone or other electronic devices during the ceremony.
If I am feeling panicky, anxious or needing something, I will not be afraid to ask for help. I will call on facilitators or leaders when necessary.
People are very sensitive during ceremonies and might feel vulnerable. Even if I want to help, I will ask a leader first.
I have consulted my doctor if I feel the need to do so. I take full responsibility for my health, well-being and reactions to these medicines.
The Buena Vida strictly prohibits recreational substances, including cannabis, ketamine, sleeping pills, non-prescription pills, or any undisclosed items. Guests, in addition to signing a waiver and undergoing a medical screening, must verbally confirm on arrival that their prescription medications remain unchanged and that they do not possess the mentioned substances. We are not equipped for active alcohol or drug addiction or eating disorders. Guests found in violation or unable to adhere to retreat protocols will be asked to leave without a refund.

SSRI:
For SSRI’s, we recommend taking the lowest possible dose that your doctor recommends. If you can be off for the retreat and about 2-3 week prior this is best. However, we are not a medical staff and can’t make those requirements. Guests who have a long history of SSRI use may need more psilocybin and more time than others because this medicine is trying to work on the same receptors in the brain and after years of SSRI use, the receptors become overwhelmed and need a bit of time to balance out in order to receive the psilocybin. Again, we are not a medical staff and cannot make these recommendations, however, we know through past guests that its better to be off of these medications in order to feel the full effects of the medicine and therefore cannot guarantee any feeling, result, healing, or response to the psilocybin.

Benzodiazepines:
Psychedelics and benzodiazepines while not dangerous to combine, you will need to taper and discontinue chronic benzo use as it will optimize therapeutic potential of experience. Continued use will significantly lessen the effects of the psilocybin.
Due to the serious potential risks of withdrawal with benzodiazepines, the risks of discontinuation in chronic users may outweigh benefits of a psychedelic experience in certain situations
Intermittent and sparing use of benzodiazepines in the week after PAP sessions may be helpful in managing anxiety or insomnia, especially in persons with previous benzodiazepine exposure

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, record, transmit, commercially exploit, edit, communicate to the public or distribute in any way the content of the Sites or our materials provided or displayed at an Event, other than for Your own personal use. Subject to the above, You may download insubstantial excerpts of the Sites’ content to Your hard drive for the purpose of viewing it provided that no more than one copy of any information is made.
We retain the rights to all staff photography and video footage during an Event.
Any use other than that permitted under this clause may only be undertaken with our prior express authorization.
